LOCAL MEETINGS HAPPENING SOON
Local meetings are informal networking events that take place every few months in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich.
These meetings are open to everyone interested - you do not need to be a member to join. Use this great opportunity to meet your colleagues at various stages of their scientific career, and to learn more about the SMPA and what it can do for you!
SMPA CONFERENCE 2022: A HUGE THANK YOU TO SPONSORS AND PARTICIPANTS!
10th Swiss MD-PhD Association Conference took place June 24th-25th in the beautiful hotel Rigi Kaltbad near Lucerne. We sincerely thank our sponsors for making this event possible. Furthermore, a huge thank you to all the participants for their attendance and interaction - we organized, but you made sure it was a great event!
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE MD-PHD? WHICH CAREER PATH SHOULD I FOLLOW?
If you are a typical MD-PhD student, you have probably had these and similar questions in your head a million times already... We don't have a simple answer, but we do have a great publication on this topic to recommend.
Together with colleagues from the European MD-PhD Association (EMPA), our former Board Member André dos Santos Rocha conducted an extensive survey on the characteristics and opinions of MD-PhD students and graduates from different European countries. A must read for current and prospective MD-PhD students!
